HOW SHADOWS ARE MADE.

Shadows are made by objects blocking the light.

Shadows Facts we discovered:

Shadows are one colour.
Shadows can move with the object.
Shadows can be different sizes.
Shadows disappear when the light goes.
Shadows are a similar shape to their object.
Shadows point away from the object.
Shadows can grow and shrink.
You can find shadows everywhere in the sun.

Our Shadow Poem

HAPPINESS
Happiness is when I play with my shadow,
I see black shapes dancing on the ground,
I hear birds singing sweetly,
I smell fresh air,
I touch the trees to lose my shadow,
And my shadow disappears!
