All Day Pass just $20.00

We have some great rides lined up for you, at the Albany Creek State School "Fete" - Saturday, July 26. There will be;

  • The wild & wicked "Round Up"
  • The thrilling "Storm Ride"
  • A giant "Super Slide"
  • An enormous inflatable "Beach Party"
  • The dazzling "Cup & Saucer Ride"
  • The all-new "Laser Skirmish"
  • A massive "Rock Climbing_ Wall"
  • A toddler "Jungle Bounce" &
  • A mini "Swing Ride"

And for a great day of fun, you can purchase a 'ride pass' for the low price of $20. The pass must be purchased NOW to take advantage of this price. (A ride pass purchased on the day will cost $25. Single ticket prices on the day will be $4.00).

The rides will be operating from 10.00am to 3.00pm on the 26th.

AND HERE'S HOW TO GET YOUR PASS

Simply fill in the slip below and return to the office with your payment by Friday - July 25. We will issue you with a receipt and record your name on a master list. On the day of the fete, hand in your receipt and you will receive your ride pass.

Remember, the earlier you get your pass, the earlier the fun begins!! Day Passes will be available at the Day Pass booth from 9.00am

TUG O WAR
IT LOOKS LIKE GRADE 3 HAS THE TOUGHEST DADS.
THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES SO FAR TO FIELD A FULL TEAM FOR TUG O WAR AT THE FETE. I GUESS BIG JOHN DABROSKI AND HIS TEAM OF SUPER DADS HAS THE REST OF THE DADS SHAKING IN THEIR STILETTOS. COME ON KIDS, GET YOUR DAD AND MUM, YES WE HAVE THE MAKING OF TWO LADIES TEAMS, FIRED UP FOR OUR HUGE TUG O WAR CHALLENGE.
COST IS $5 PER PLAYER WITH A GREAT PRIZE FOR EACH OF THE TOUGHEST DADS AND MUMS. CALL ALAN ERLANDSEN ON 0417640616.

What a great Winter Carnival! The weather finally turned fine so that we could proceed. I would personally like to thank our convenor, Wendy Weller and all of our great volunteers who assisted. I’m sure that all who attended will agree that it was a great success. Funds raised through the carnival will be put to good use improving facilities and resources for our students.

CAKE STALL – I would like to sincerely thank all of the parents, students and grandparents who contributed home baked goods for the Cake Stall. The stall was a huge success thank to the excellent quality of goods and the hard work of many people. Thank you to all the helpers who priced and sorted cakes on Friday and a very special thanks to the team of mums, who helped me to plan, organise and run the stall: Dianne Best-Semple, Kerry Berris, Julie Yorston and Patti Murray, who also painted our beautiful sign. One final thank you to my young helpers on Saturday, Hamish and Eden and Faith.

CRAFT STALL – Thank you to all the wonderful mums and grandmas for their lovely contribution to the craft stall. A huge thank you to Nicci Willis, Megan Hirn, Jo Hart, Ann Cooper and Wendy Forsythe. Without you, this stall wasn’t going to be. Thank you also to Jim our groundsman, who now has the big task to get the oval looking good again. What a wonderful day we had.

Thank you from the Sweet Stall....
We would like to express our appreciation to everyone who contributed to make the Sweet Stall such a success at this year’s winter carnival. Thank you to everyone who donated their valuable time to supply our stall with lots of delicious home made sweets and treats. A huge thank you also to everyone who helped out with pricing and packaging on the Friday and all of the stall volunteers on the day of the fair.
