FUZZY THE KOALA

Today, Wednesday 27 February, I began my long trip to the Netherlands. I left for Brisbane airport this morning.

6th March

"Hello everyone at Albany Creek State School. Guess what! I spent my first day at Brisbane Airport, looking around at all the exciting planes and buildings that they have here. I even visited the Kingsford Smith Memorial and saw the plane that Smithy flew in. I have also been helping Katrina Bonomo the Communications Assistant from Brisbane Airport Corporation in her office. On Tuesday 5th March I am going in a big jumbo aircraft to Europe where I really begin some of my exciting adventures.
I hope you don't miss me too much!
Big hug from Fuzzy"

BAC's Katrina Bonomo says a fond farewell to Fuzzy
as he leaves Brisbane Airport for Amsterdam.

"On Tuesday 5 March I went on a business trip to Europe with Koen Rooijmans the CEO of Brisbane Airport Corporation. At 15.15 hour we took off at the International Airport with Malaysia Airlines via Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam. The total distance to Amsterdam is 16,195 kilometre and it took us 24 hours travel time. We arrived at 06.20 hour the next day, Wednesday 6 March. We flew a fantastic aircraft, a quite new Boeing 777, with personal video and computer games. The food on board was terrific (nice Malaysian sates) and the cabin crew was very nice and friendly. When we left Brisbane it was sunny and 29 degrees Celsius. In Amsterdam the weather was less beautiful. It was still dark and the temperature not higher than 2 degrees."
