Bonjour mes amis,
Je suis a Ottawa, au Canada. A Ottawa une grande majorite de la
populations sont bilingue. La famille Gittens me parle en francais et en
anglais.
(Bet you didn't know that I now speak French!)
This note is just to let you know that I am alive and doing well. I
landed in LA and was introduced to a lovely Canadian lady who agreed to
escort me to the top of the world. I am now in Ottawa, the capital of
Canada. Yes, there is still snow on the ground and the temperatures are
"Coldddddddd" (minus 20 degrees Celsius) and this is their spring. Yet I
am happy and the Gittens family is taking good care of me and keeping me
warm. They have promised to take me to the parliament buildings and
hopefully I will get to meet a real Mountie. I will send you some
pictures as soon as time allows.
Canada is a wonderful country, the people are friendly and are very
curious about your school and this project. I have decided to take a
couple of days to check out the sights and then pack my bags and hit the
road again. The Gittens family sends you their best wishes.
I miss you all, but am having a great time.

Hello, today the Gittens' had some friends over to play with me. I met
John and Mary Elizabeth who live in Ottawa, Canada. The Gitten's
family asked John and Mary Elizabeth to take me on an adventure! On
Thursday our Mother will travel to Munich Germany to visit the Phillips
family and will bring Edwina along for the flight! But first soccer
practice and throwing snow balls! Will check in soon mates!

On Thursday May 2nd, I travelled by plane from Ottawa, Canada all the way
to Munich, Germany. It was a long flight but I watched the Harry Potter
movie and the time passed quickly. On May 3rd, I went to a birthday party
for Jacqueline in Munich. Jacqueline is 8 years old today! Alexander, Jacqueline, Charlotte and Victoria have welcomed me into their home. Tomorrow, we'll see the sights of Munich and visit with German friends. What an adventure!
Edwine freut sich sehr in Muenchen zu sein. Sie gewoehnt sich langsam aber
sicher an das Deutsche Essen. Besonders gern mag sie Weisswuerste und
Bier. Sie wünschte alle ihre Freunde in Australien alles gute und hofft
sie irgendwann die wieder zu sehen. Servus!

About three weeks ago I returned from Germany back to the Gittens' in Ottawa.
Tomorrow afternoon passage has been arranged for me to travel with some friends to Italy.
