Today, Thursday 21 February, I left the School on the start of my long trip. I went to the airport where I was presented to a Singapore air traffic controller, Mr Tai Kit, who will take me to Singapore on Saturday 23 February.
Below are some pictures of me taken at Brisbane Airport.

My name is Ricardo Henry, an Air Traffic Controller in Trinidad and Tobago (West Indies).
Dani was passed on to a visiting Air Traffic Controller from Singapore on 21st February 2002 and went to Singapore. Dani stayed with Tai Kit before leaving with Mr Tai Kit's 2 daughters where he stayed for a while.
Dani left Singapore on 13th April 2002 with Tiffany, an Air Traffic Controller from Singapore on Singapore Airlines to Los Angeles USA with a connecting flight to Cancun Mexico where he would spend the entire next week in the sunny resort city.
I received Dani the Roo on 19th April 2002 in Cancun Mexico, from Air Traffic Controllers from Singapore at an Air Traffic Control Conference.
Since then Dani has travelled to a few cities. On Saturday 20th April he went to Miami Florida, USA and a few other cities in Florida.
On the 23rd April 2002 Dani continued on to New York City. He stayed in Brooklyn and travelled to Queens, Manhattan (Time Square and the site of the World Trade Centre Buildings), Jamaica in New York and other cities in New York.
On 29th April Dani continued on with me to Trinidad and Tobago, two Caribbean islands next to Venezuela. He is with me in Trinidad in a town called Arima and he has visited may towns and cities in Trinidad.
Soon he will be leaving me and going on with others. I am yet to determine with which person I will send him but we will try to encourage the others to get him back to Australia by October 31st 2002.
I just wanted to write to you and let you know of Dani's adventures. Feel free to email me if you want more information.
Your friend in Trinidad,
Ricardo
Here I am with Nicholas playing the Steelpan,
the national instrument of Trinidad and Tobago.
The Steelpan is the only instrument invented in
the 20th century and it was invented in Trinidad.
